14" x 29"
I picked up this piece at the same time as "The Clay Demon" at a furniture shop/antique store here in Chicago. At the time it reminded me of the cover painting of Jethro Tull's, "Aqualung". Now I'm not quite sure what to think, but I do like the painterly style, the constricted framing of the figure, and the ambiguous look on the subject's face as he looks off into the distance. Not a great piece, but the rolled-up sleeves and exposed forearms alone make it worth the price of admission.
