"Bearded Man in Floral Hat"

C. Solk, 1968, 18" x 24"

This painting is so awful that I can safely say that it will never hang on the walls of any living space in which I reside. It does make a fine addition to my cyberspace Gallery, though. The contrast of the brilliant purple background, the red, white, and blue clothing, and the multi-colored floral hat are enough to induce nausea in even the most hardy of visitors to my collection. I guess the frame alone is worth the $7.50 that I shelled out for this one, but I think that if the price would have been even a bit higher, or if the frame was absent, I might have had to pass up this monstrosity.
